Strict adherence to pre-care instructions is essential for achieving beautiful, long-lasting results. Failure to follow these guidelines may affect the final outcome, causing increased bleeding, poor pigment retention, or compromised healing. In such cases, the artist reserves the right to refuse service, and deposits may be forfeited. Your cooperation ensures a safe, successful, and satisfying experience.

Eyebrow Post-Care Guidelines
The following post-care instructions are required for all clients. Proper pre-care prepares your body for the procedure, while diligent post-care ensures optimal healing and pigment retention. Please follow all guidelines carefully to achieve the best possible results.
Cleansing Instructions
Keeping the treatment area clean is essential. The eyebrows should only come into contact with water during the cleansing routine outlined below.
How to Clean:
Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the brows.
1st Hour: During the first hour after treatment, gently blot the brows with a clean tissue every few minutes.
Day 1: For the first 4 hours, gently rinse the brows with cool water every hour. Pat dry with clean tissue. DO NOT RUB.
Day 2-10: Repeat cleansing with cool water and gently pat dry, twice daily, morning and night.
Healing Duration
Healing times vary by individual. Some clients heal more quickly, while others may take longer. Cleansing should stop once the shedding phase is complete and should not exceed 10 days. Strict adherence to post-care instructions is essential for proper healing and long-lasting results.
First 48 Hours — Avoid:
Caffeine, tea, soda, energy drinks
Blood thinners such as aspirin or ibuprofen
Smoking or nicotine use
During the Entire Healing Period
(Typically 10–14 days)
Avoid direct sunlight, tanning, or sunbathing (wear a hat when outdoors).
Keep the treated area dry except during cleansing.
Avoid excessive moisture, including sweating, exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools (unless otherwise instructed).
Avoid sleeping on your side or stomach until fully healed.
Do not pick, scratch, or rub the brows.
Avoid hot, steamy showers; keep the brow area dry while showering.
Do not apply makeup to the treated area until all shedding is complete.
Do not use Vaseline, Neosporin, or any petroleum-based products.
Do not bleach, tint, or dye the eyebrow area.
Do not use acne treatments (e.g., benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, Proactiv) or skin-lightening products such as hydroquinone.
Avoid anti-aging or facial products containing AHAs, Retin-A, lactic acid, or glycolic acid on the treated area.
Highly Recommended: Avoid exercising until the brows are fully healed.
HEALING PROCESS BREAKDOWN
This is a standard breakdown of the healing process that you may experience. Each individuals healing process is different and results may vary.
Day 1:
Treated area is approximately 20-25% darker than expected healed results.
Slight swelling and redness expected.
Day 2-4:
Swelling and redness should subside.
Treated area appears darker and bigger due to the scabbing process starting on swollen skin from day 1.
Day 5-7:
Shedding and itching begin.
Avoid picking at scabs, itching, or excessive expressions in the treated area to prevent loss of pigmentation.
Day 7-14
Shedding should be complete.
Pigment may initially appear light or almost non-existent as a new layer of shiny skin forms over the treated area. Once fully healed, the pigment should resurface and darken.
Weeks 2-6:
Pigment will gradually darken day by day.
True color should resurface by week 4 after shedding the new skin layer.
Touch-Up Procedure
Touch-up services are not included in the initial session cost.
A touch-up appointment is typically performed 4–12 weeks after the initial session. The purpose of this visit is to refine and perfect the results by reinforcing pigment retention, enhancing shape, and addressing any areas that may have healed unevenly. Variations in healing can occur due to factors such as individual skin response, pre- and post-care compliance, accidental scab removal, or premature flaking.
Once the treated area has fully healed, any necessary adjustments or enhancements can be safely made during the follow-up appointment. Complete skin regeneration in the brow area takes approximately 4 weeks, and maintaining the integrity of the skin is always the top priority.
Not all clients will require a touch-up. If you are unsure whether a follow-up appointment is needed, please contact your artist for personalized guidance based on your healing progress.
After-Healing Care Instructions
To maintain the longevity and appearance of your brows, please follow these guidelines:
Avoid
Retin-A, exfoliants, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser treatments, and anti-aging products on or near tattooed areas. Glycolic acids and similar products may cause premature fading.
Laser treatments near the brows—inform your technician if lasers are required after healing.
Tanning beds.
Always
Apply sunscreen when exposed to sunlight and wear a hat for extra protection.
Rinse and thoroughly dry the area after contact with chlorine.
Important Notes
Results are not guaranteed. Every body heals and retains pigment differently.
Healing and retention depend on factors such as skin type, texture, natural oils, lifestyle, medications, skincare products, sun exposure, and aftercare.
Pigment may fade or shift over time. Touch-ups may be needed to refresh color and maintain desired results.
Strict adherence to pre- and post-care instructions is essential for optimal outcomes.
Thank you for trusting us with your brow journey.
